RECYCLE FOR MEDICAL CARE
There’s a lot of ways to help and you don’t always need money to make a difference.
This time we are recycling Pop Tabs and Plastic Bottle Caps as Donations to Ronald McDonald Houses.
Ronald McDonald Houses collects pop tabs and/or bottle caps to help families and children in need. The tabs/caps are collected and the local RMHC Chapter brings the collection to their local recycling centers, where they are weighed to determine their value. The amount of money raised by recycling these tabs/caps in the recycling center is send to a RMHC Chapter. This campaign will support stability and resources for child’s medical care, given to families in need.
MISSION
Let’s make this campaign fun, not only by recycling and helping the world, but also by helping others in need.
We are now gathering COLLECTORS LEADERS to organize teams in order to collect pop tabs/ bottle caps in your local area. You can start at home, ask in your school cafeteria or even at a local restaurant.
We will give you tools to promote these and also the contact of your local chapter. In some countries you can only collect pop tabs and others only plastic bottle caps, so we would advise you to contact your local chapter first.
To keep track of all your donations, all we ask is for reports with pictures (which will be featured on EXPERIENCES. Also, there’s a possibility to use them on a print project).
Please, note that this is a worldwide project. We believe with all of you, together, we can create a ‘movement’ to help those in need.
